MEDICA is the world’s largest event for the medical sector. For more than 40 years it has been firmly established on every expert’s calendar. There are many reasons why MEDICA is so unique. Firstly, the event is the largest medical trade fair in the world – it attracted several thousand exhibitors from more than 50 countries in the halls. An extensive exhibition and an ambitious program — which together present the entire spectrum of innovations for outpatient and clinical care — await you in Düsseldorf.

In addition to the professional "MEDICA Forums and Conferences" have become an integral part of the trade fair. Forums and several special shows on varied medical-technological topics are concisely presented in the halls as an attractive complement to the trade fair. E.g. MEDICA CONNECTED HEALTHCARE FORUM with MEDICA App COMPETITION, MEDICA HEALTH IT FORUM, MEDICA ECON FORUM, MEDICA TECH FORUM and MEDICA LABMED FORUM. The conferences are the German Hospital Conference (the leading communication platform for decision-makers in German hospitals), the MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE and the International Conference on Disaster and Military Medicine (DiMiMED). In halls 9, 10, 11 and 14 you will find the entire range of imaging and diagnostics / medical technology as well as surgical equipment, medical furniture and special furnishings for hospitals and practices. Use the overview of the market for specific information and discussions.

IT systems and IT solutions

Hall 12 displays the entire medical IT including important interface aspects in an interdisciplinary way. You will find the entire range of innovations in data collection and networking plus the major topics of eHealth, mHealth and pHealth. It would be difficult to find better quality anywhere else.

Laboratory equipment / diagnostic tests

The performance of laboratories and the entire range of clinical analysis technology are the key topics in the halls 1 and 3. Here, employees and decision-makers will get access to one of the worldwide largest markets for laboratory technology and diagnostic tests. Halls 5, 6, 7A and 7.0 focus on medical products, hygiene, clothing, disposable articles and much more from the world of commodities and consumables. Here, the focus is on innovation and efficiency for hospitals and practices.

Joint stands

In halls 15, 16 and 17 you will see around 150 national and international joint stands from the electromedical / medical technology segment. This means that the concentrated power of medical innovation will be presented by German federal states such as Berlin, Baden-Württemberg and Thuringia, by European states such as France, Belgium and Italy and by overseas countries such as Brazil, China and the USA. You will also find other joint stands in other halls, e.g. the stands of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia in halls 3 and 12.
