For over 18 years, the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION WORLD CUP® has been one of the world’s leading innovation competitions and a proven accelerator for health tech innovations. In the pitch finals at MEDICA, the "Top Health Techpreneurs" will present their solutions. It is particularly looking for smart health devices such as medical wearables, digital biomarkers, electroceuticals, smart patches, and other groundbreaking technologies. Innovators from around the world are invited to submit their solutions and write a success story with the Innovation World Cup. Prizes include global visibility, free marketing and development kits, and exclusive networking opportunities with companies and investors. Participation in the Healthcare Innovation World Cup is free of charge.

Startups in the fields of AI in healthcare, robotics, laboratory diagnostics, and resilience (including cybersecurity) can participate in the 15th MEDICA Start-up COMPETITION.

In addition to exclusive networking opportunities and attractive cash prizes, the “Top Medical Startups 2026” will have the chance to present their innovations in the grand pitch finale on the MEDICA Start-up STAGE (Hall 17).
