ETHR designs, develops and distributes universal modular splints to help first responders immobilize extremity injuries in pre-hospital settings.
SHEETSPLINT was invented by a former combat paramedic. He refused to accept that lightweight splints didnt provide effective immobilization to long bone fractures, often causing secondary injuries.
Rait developed the idea taking a cue from origami paper folding practices to create a lightweight and compact, yet very robust splint, which can be used to immobilize all major extremity injuries.
SHEETSPLINT is used in ambulances, field hospitals, and training centers by the Estonian Defence Forces, the Estonian Defence League, and the Estonian Rescue Board. SHEETSPLINT is currently tested by the armed forces of multiple NATO member states.
