EG-Q BOND
EG-Q Bond is a topical skin adhesive composed of octyl cyanoacrylate and D&C violet #2 (quinizarin blue) dye for epidermal bonding. EG-Q Bond is supplied in a sterile packed container for single use. The container is made of PP plastic and a glass vial. When the liquid solution is applied to the skin, it polymerizes within minutes and forms a microbial barrier that prevents external contamination and infection in the wound.

EG-Q Bond is intended for topical use to bond skin wounds due to surgical incisions, including incisions due to minimally invasive procedures. EG-Q Bond may be used in conjunction with, but not in place of, subcutaneous suturing procedures.
