All double-sided through-hole plated circuit boards from AT&S

Double-sided through-hole plated circuit boards are used today in all areas of electronics, but especially in industrial and automotive applications. AT&S specializes in the production of double-sided PCBs in the thickness range from 0.1 mm to 3.2 mm in series.

Following features:
  • with "Edge Plating" for shielding and ground connection
  • with metal core for high thermal conductivity
  • (metal, copper or aluminium)
  • with "Copper Inlay" for specific heat dissipation
  • with solder resist of the colors
  • green / white / black / blue / grey / brown etc.
  • with copper layer thicknesses up to more than 140 µm
  • in all common surfaces of the printed circuit board industry

"Flexible Circuit Boards"

Flexible printed circuit boards are used in all areas of electronics today. In most cases the PCB is bent, twisted or folded to fit into a housing. The use of flexible printed circuit boards primarily replaces cables and connectors or creates connections and geometries that cannot be realized with a rigid printed circuit board.

AT&S offers the following product range:
  • flexible printed circuit boards based on polyimide,
  • single-sided to multilayer flex
  • usable for dynamic or static applications
  • with SMD assembly and underfill

"HDI Anylayer Printed Circuit Boards"

HDI Anylayer PCBs are the technological evolution of HDI Microvia PCBs. Here, 100 % of all electrical connections of the individual layers are realized via laser-drilled microvias. The great advantage of this technology is that each layer can be interconnected. AT&S uses laser-drilled microvias filled with electroplated copper to manufacture these circuit boards.

Special technologies used in HDI Anylayer PCBs:

  • "Edge plating for shielding and ground connection
  • Conductor width and spacing of 40 µm in large-scale production
  • "Stacked" microvias (copper or filled with conductive paste)
  • Cavities, counterbores or depth milling
  • Solder resist of the colours black / blue / green etc.
  • halogen reduced material in the standard and
  • High-TG range
  • Low-DK material for mobile devices
  • all known surfaces of the PCB industry
  • Up to 14 layers with 6 HDI build-up algae per side
  • Edge metallization for shielding optimization

About us

Company portrait

AT&S is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-quality printed circuit boards and IC substrates. AT&S industrializes pioneering technologies for its core businesses of mobile devices, automotive, industrial, medical and advanced packaging. As an international growth company, AT&S has a global presence with production sites in Austria (Leoben, Fehring) and plants in India (Nanjangud), China (Shanghai, Chongqing) and Korea (Ansan near Seoul).

High-tech printed circuit boards for high-tech applications
Printed circuit boards are the interface between the electronic end devices and the mechanical and electronic components (e.g. semiconductors). AT&S printed circuit boards are used in mobile end devices (smartphones, smart watches, tablets, notebooks, etc.), industrial electronics (process control, sensor technology, etc.), automotive (e.g. transmission control, camera and safety systems, etc.) and medical and health technology (hearing aids, pacemakers, etc.).
