Medical Cloud - Cloud Computing for DICOM X-Ray Images

The DICOM Cloud for medical images and documents
ORCA® (Oehm and Rehbein Cloud Archiving) is a platform to store, view and share medical images and documents in a special cloud optimized for this purpose.

The ORCA® medical cloud offers two attractive usage options with ORCA® Archive and ORCA® Share.

ORCA® Archive makes it possible to archive image material directly from modalities (digital X-ray, CT, MRI, sonography, etc.) or from the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) in the cloud. This archiving solution can also be used as an additional backup. The images in the cloud can then be viewed in full resolution and quality (DICOM) with the browser-based viewer integrated in ORCA® (ORCA® View ) or our diagnostic software dicomPACS® anywhere there is Internet access.

At the same time, ORCA® is a platform for communication (share) with external partners. Images and findings can be shared via ORCA® with employees, colleagues and specialists. Thus, simple sharing of images and documents with patients is also possible. The recipient receives access to the shared images via an e-mail link. Separate software does not need to be installed.
