Telematics infrastructure

As a leading e-health company, CGM has been significantly involved in the development and establishment of the telematics infrastructure (TI) for many years. More than 50,000 medical and dental practices, MVZs and outpatient clinics already work daily with the proven and power-saving KoCoBox MED+ connector.

The advantages of the nationally uniform medication plan (BMP), which has been widespread since 2017, are obvious, especially when treating a patient together. With the eGK and the eMP, the next stage is now achieved and the patient's current plan is stored on their eGK. Thus, for the first time, the patient benefits from paperless, comprehensive, cross-sector and uniform documentation, the aim of which is to increase the safety of drug therapy - and which can thus even save lives.

In emergency data management (NFDM), medication, diagnoses and other information that may be relevant for the attending physicians in an emergency are stored on the eGK. The prerequisite for documentation on the card is the patient's consent. Storing emergency data on the electronic health card will help doctors and paramedics to make the right decisions quickly.

KOM-LE (communication service provider)

The new TI communication standard KOM-LE (communication of service providers) enables communication between all participants connected to the TI. Messages, files and e-doctor letters signed by means of an eHBA can be securely exchanged between sender and recipient via the telematics infrastructure using an SMC-B signed and encrypted e-mail.
