Your Source for PTFE Spiral Heat-Shrink Tubing
Teleflex Medical OEM is a global leader for the precision extrusion PTFE (Polytetraflouroethylene) spiral heat-shrink tubing. It can provide a protective covering that resists heat, shock, corrosion, moisture, and other extremes. The tubing also is water resistant, chemically inert, and is produced in a variety of custom sizes with a range of shrink ratios.
Spiral heat-shrink tubing is used in the medical device industry for guidewire visibility during endoscopic procedures. The spiral jacket on the wire allows the surgeon to judge the insertion rate into the body.
