Air Sanitizing System: NEWSTER I-GENICO3

Newster Intelligent Ozone Generator is an innovative solution for air and surface sanitization assuring maximum health safety, without the use of chemical components dangerous to humans and the environment.
Thanks to the combination of three different disinfection methods: Ozone, UV-c rays, and HEPA filter, the device efficiently operates to sanitize surfaces and through a constant filtration of the air it offers a valid contribution for the containment of the diffusion of all respiratory infections, including SARS-CoV-2.

Two systems in one thanks to a combined solution for all indoor sanitizing needs:

  • FOR ROOMS WITH A HIGH PRESENCE OF INDIVIDUALS: Newster I-GENICO3 has been designed to avoid the diffusion of biological agents through efficient disinfection of the air and constant decontamination of surfaces.
  • FOR CLOSED HIGH BIOLOGICAL RISK AREAS:  thanks to its OZONAIR function, is an innovative unit designed for sanitization of closed areas with a very high biological risk through the ozone.
Is a compact and mobile design, all you have to do is connect it to a power supply and follow the instructions indicated on the device. No training is necessary.

Newster Academy: With you every step of the way

Newster has developed an e-learning training course for the operator, on the DOCEBO platform.
Training programs are provided to all staff involved in the use of the equipment and maintenance programs are included as an added value to healthcare organizations. Newster training begins at the core of waste generation, with hospital staff trained to correctly segregate the waste at source, thus limiting the amount of infectious waste. The operators also learn how to carry out ordinary maintenance to keep units running in optimum conditions. Assistance is always available from our main office for eventual clarifications/instructions.

ISWA 2021 World Congress

Newster invites you to view our presentation about LCA during ISWA 2021
The study "Life cycle assessment of a novel residue-infused acoustic insulation material made from recycled diapers" (B. Copertaro, M. Li, G. Magrini, R. Pike, 2021) aims to preliminary assess the environmental impacts, through life cycle analysis (LCA) of a new type of acoustic insulation material made from diapers, used in residential care facilities for the elderly, treated through frictional heat treatment (FHT). The LCA was conducted using Gabi Software, and the results obtained for the new residue-infused acoustic insulation are compared to other commercially availoable insulation products, like stone wool, paper wool and flax cellulose. According to the environmental imapct categories considered (i.e., global warning, acidification, and eutrophication), the residue-infused insulation implicates a significally smaller environmental impact over all the considered categories.

About us

Company portrait

One company for all infectious waste disposal needs.

Newster® Group is a European leader in sterilization technologies offering a complete and ecological solution for most types of hazardous waste produced in healthcare facilities. We design and manufacture state-of-the-art equipment for the treatment of solid healthcare waste, sewage wastewater, and medical laboratory fluid waste in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly way.

Our patented and certified technologies are the result of ongoing investments in research and development. We work in close collaboration with international organizations, NGOs, universities, and healthcare facilities. Our aim is to prevent the spread of infections and ensure healthy working and living conditions.

Newster systems are successfully installed worldwide in conformity with the highest quality standards.

In the 1990s, the world became aware of the negative impact of medical waste incineration, which produces large quantities of POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants) such as dioxins and furans.

Our history begins in 1996, when our founder Pier Luigi Bascucci acquired the patent for innovative technologies for the ecological treatment of solid infectious healthcare waste, well before the 2004 Convention of Stockholm, which invited governments to reduce or eliminate POPs. It took us two years to develop the first prototype and we haven’t stopped researching and innovating since then. Over the years, we have expanded our range of products and are now able to offer an integrated solution for the disposal of many types of infectious waste.
