Newster Academy: With you every step of the way

Newster has developed an e-learning training course for the operator, on the DOCEBO platform.
Training programs are provided to all staff involved in the use of the equipment and maintenance programs are included as an added value to healthcare organizations. Newster training begins at the core of waste generation, with hospital staff trained to correctly segregate the waste at source, thus limiting the amount of infectious waste. The operators also learn how to carry out ordinary maintenance to keep units running in optimum conditions. Assistance is always available from our main office for eventual clarifications/instructions.

ISWA 2021 World Congress

Newster invites you to view our presentation about LCA during ISWA 2021
The study "Life cycle assessment of a novel residue-infused acoustic insulation material made from recycled diapers" (B. Copertaro, M. Li, G. Magrini, R. Pike, 2021) aims to preliminary assess the environmental impacts, through life cycle analysis (LCA) of a new type of acoustic insulation material made from diapers, used in residential care facilities for the elderly, treated through frictional heat treatment (FHT). The LCA was conducted using Gabi Software, and the results obtained for the new residue-infused acoustic insulation are compared to other commercially availoable insulation products, like stone wool, paper wool and flax cellulose. According to the environmental imapct categories considered (i.e., global warning, acidification, and eutrophication), the residue-infused insulation implicates a significally smaller environmental impact over all the considered categories.
