About us

Company portrait

Pingutherm is a brand of the company Aichinger Merchant House GmbH & Co KG. It is based in the beautiful town of Bad Schmiedeberg (Dübener Heide). Its owner, Ralf Aichinger, runs the company, which specializes in the development, production and distribution of heat patches - in cooperation with the Japanese manufacturer. As Ralf Aichinger himself lived in Japan for several years, he started working on the introduction of these ingenious heat patches to Germany as early as the 90s. Because as a passionate motorcyclist he often had to deal with bad and cold weather, which he was usually annoyed about and thought about solutions. Thus he came to the heat patch solution, which he perfected over the years. Its advantage is clearly the use without skin contact, because it is not stuck on the skin, but on the clothing.
