Biomat, established in 1992, is an engineering company dedicated to the development of special plastic products (microplates, PCR products, and other products) for diagnostic and medical applications. Through the years, the need of surfaces capable of binding biological molecules drove our activity to focus on the surface modifications by different technologies:
from plasma to bio-coating and our know-how enables us to offer also customized solutions.
Since 1995, when we started the production of our 96 well plates for immunoassays with Medium and High Binding capacity for ELISA, we extended our range of products to different formats and a wide range of surfaces suitable for different applications.
Our experience in surface modifications and our and production capacity, enable us to serve IVD manufacturers and researches operating in the different fields that need surface modified articles: from immunoassays to molecular diagnostics, whenever the need of a surface-modified article, Biomat can offer its solutions to the customer in such areas as molecular diagnostic and genomics.
