i-view(TM) video laryngoscope - Video laryngoscopy wherever and whenever you intubate
i-view is the new, single use, fully disposable video laryngoscope providing the option of video laryngoscopy wherever you might need to intubate.

The Intersurgical TrachSeal™ features an ultra clear, new softer sleeve. This allows the clinician greater feel when inserting the catheter with optimum visibility of blockage assessments. Our suction control valve is responsive and allows for single handed control of the applied suction force. The positive locking mechanism is designed to prevent suction being accidentally applied.
The use of a closed suction system for infection control maintains a closed breathing system and reduces contamination when clearing the lungs of secretions, whilst maintaining ventilation and minimising contamination.
We offer a range of 24- and 72-hour usage depending on patient requirements, and two length options to allow attachment to either endotracheal or tracheostomy tubes.
Ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) is a hospital acquired disease, which can be efficiently fought when applying certain strategies. It has a significant impact on patients health, length of stay and hospital cost. Closed suction greatly reduces the potential for contamination from the bacteria which cause VAP. Maintaining a closed breathing system is part of the ventilator care bundle, designed to reduce the incidence of VAP in the hospital.

The Intersurgical StarMed range of respiratory hoods has been designed for both non-invasive ventilation (NIV) and CPAP therapy providing an alternative patient interface to traditional masks. The NIV hoods create a closed environment that prevents dispersion from leaks during treatment, improving infection control and the protection of the clinician.
Offering several clinical benefits for both the patient and the care providers, the hood interface helps to overcome many of the issues experienced with both endotracheal intubation and face mask use.
The use of the hood interface has been associated with increased patient comfort and improved NIV outcomes, leading to reduced total ventilation time and ICU length of stay.

The FiltaMask™ combines an oxygen delivery system with a filter media covering the exhalation ports. FiltaMask is intended for use on patients with respiratory infections who may be a source of aerosolised infectious pathogens and who also require supplementary oxygen.
The FiltaMask is designed to reduce the risk to paramedics, hospital staff and visitors.

The Cirrus2 nebuliser is designed to deliver drugs for tracheobronchial deposition. It is available with a self-sealing T-piece, which enables the nebuliser to be attached (or detached) from the ventilator breathing system without interfering with patient ventilation or inadvertently activating any alarms.
If an HMEF is being used and it is essential this stays in place during nebulisation the T-Piece should be positioned between the HMEF and the patient interface, and every effort should be made to minimise system dead space and monitor ventilation. Monitor the HMEF throughout use and replace if increased resistance or contamination occurs.

Silver-Knight(TM) anti-microbial breathing systems
Silver-Knight™ is a range of breathing systems with an anti-microbial additive that inhibits bacterial growth and reduces the risk of cross-infection. It functions as a safe, quick and effective catalyst to deactivate pathogenic bacteria and prevent their proliferation. This technology allows the silver ions to be released in small quantities over time to reduce microbial growth within, and on, the surface of the breathing systems helping to reduce touch contamination and potential cross contamination between patients.

Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) causes prolonged intubation and a prolonged stay in intensive care units (ICU) with the associated costs. It is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in critically unwell patients.
A combination of oral care treatments (brushing and suctioning) in a proper oral care protocol means care providers can efficiently prevent oropharyngeal bacterial biofilm build-up. This in turn leads to a reduction of VAP and Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) and greatly reduces associated treatment costs.

ClearLite is a range of single use anaesthetic face masks which includes seven sizes to meet the clinical needs of all patient types and sizes. Due to the enhanced anatomical design, the ClearLite™ mask offers superior seal performance with minimum pressure, reducing the risk of unnecessary discomfort or potential trauma. The superior seal will also assist the clinician in providing optimum manual ventilation of the patient in both the anaesthetic and emergency situation.
ClearLite is non PVC and phthalate free which significantly minimises the impact upon the environment. The range is available without a hook ring to reduce waste.
The i-gel® is the innovative second generation supraglottic airway device from Intersurgical. The first major development since the laryngeal mask airway, i-gel has changed the face of airway management and is now widely used in anaesthesia and resuscitation across the globe.
Made from a medical grade thermoplastic elastomer, i-gel has been designed to create a non-inflatable, anatomical seal of the pharyngeal, laryngeal and perilaryngeal structures whilst avoiding compression trauma.
Launched in 2007 after years of extensive research and development, i-gel now has an established reputation in anaesthesia with three adult and four paediatric sizes in the range, ideal for use with patient weights between 2-90+kg. In 2012, the indications for use were expanded to include use as a conduit for intubation (with fibreoptic guidance).
i-gel is supplied in an innovative, colour-coded protective cradle (adult sizes) or cage pack (paediatric sizes), to ensure the product is maintained in the correct flexion prior to use, important for patient safety and product performance, and to optimise gas circulation for effective sterilisation. The cradle and cage pack also acts as a base for lubrication.
The protective cradle (adult sizes) and cage pack (paediatric sizes) for standard i-gel are both made from polypropylene (PP) and can be recycled. The appropriate recycling symbol is already on the cage pack and is in the process of being added to the protective cradle
