X Twin platform
The X Twin platform has been designed for easy and space-saving installation on the floor without the need for a complex ceiling construction. With the use of only one installed 43x43 cm² full format detector (DR) all common projection techniques of a conventional system with bucky table and grid wall stand are available. The positioning of tube and detector is motorized in 6 axis and has auto-tracking and organ programs. An injured patient can be examined in all (lying) positions on the table without the need of dangerous relocation. A huge variety of projection techniques and clinical applications are available for this acquisition platform. There are options available for angular and linear stitching, thorax bed exams and dynamic imaging including Tomosynthesis and R/F to meet the most diverse user requirements.

As one of the market-leading medical software applications for processing raw data from digital detectors (DR), its sophisticated mathematical algorithms now guarantee many users in projection radiography excellent imaging results at the lowest possible dose. These algorithms have now also been adapted to the possibilities offered by state-of-the-art detectors for dynamic imaging. They ensure improved noise suppression as well as excellent contrast and brightness stabilization for dynamic examinations in diagnostic imaging. The X Twin X-ray system, which can be motorized in 6 axes, is also an ideal carrier system for this technology.
With the digital tomosynthesis (DTS) shown in the upper left image, Roesys opens up a completely new clinical application for its customers on the X Twin platform. The tomosynthesis examination protocol on the X Twin RF X-ray system, with its innovative image reconstruction in combination with the proven image post-processing of the DXRS algorithms, enables completely new views of the clinical structures without disturbing overlaps. With this capability, the clinical application of tomosynthesis closes the gap between conventional projection techniques (DR) and sectional image systems (CT) in only one device at a lower dose and significantly shorter examination time.
Survey images of the shoulder, spine or legs are used in everyday clinical practice, for example to detect malpositions or to perform measurements and static calculations to compensate for incorrect posture. They are still indispensable today for the preparation of surgical procedures to adjust different leg lengths, the planning of supportive measures in the area of the spinal column or also for correcting the position of the musculoskeletal system by means of knee or hip prostheses.
In digital radiography (DR), priority detectors with an active imaging area of max. 42 x 42 cm2 are used as primary image receivers. Due to the high acquisition costs it is usually not possible to use several of these detectors at the same time, e.g. to take an overview image of the legs from a great distance (3 m), as was still common practice with film-film cassettes or imaging plates. In order to take this into account, software algorithms were developed which allow an automated combination of single images with simultaneous dynamic and geometry compensation for body parts of different density or far apart (e.g. hip vs. lower leg). In order to reduce movement artifacts caused by the patient, motorized X-ray systems - such as the "X Twin" - are used almost exclusively for these examination techniques today.
If you are looking for a simple, solid X-ray system with a small footprint but great potential, the X Fit System is the right choice. The completely floor-mounted X-ray system does not require any expensive ceiling constructions and also copes excellently with very low room heights. If you are still working with Film or CR plates, this system can grow with your needs and also accommodate mobile or fixed DR detectors.
The manually operated X Fit System has a mechanical weight balance in the tube arm and in the wall stand and is therefore easy to operate. The chosen construction made of sustainable materials minimizes maintenance and drastically reduces possible malfunctions.
The patient table has a floating table top with electromechanical brakes and can be conveniently adjusted in height using a foot switch. This makes it easier to position older patients and guarantees an ergonomic working height for the Technician.
Since both the wall stand and the X-ray tube reach the floor position, the X Fit system can be optimally used for orthopedic examinations of the lower extremities. If mobile detectors are used, the X-ray tube can be swivelled to take thorax images of the patient in bed.

X Mobil series
Our mobile patient tables fill the gap between simple examination and highly specialised OR tables in terms of price and functionality. They all have a single-sided suspended, floating table top made of carbon fibre laminate with excellent radiation transparency, which ensures a comfortable patient positioning with projection from all directions without disturbing artefacts.
The X Mobil can be used to examine patients up to 250 kg weight. The ingenious design is an ideal complement to our X Twin and is also suitable for examinations with U-arm systems or mobile C-arms. The table has found a steadily growing community of enthusiastic users in many clinical applications ranging from radiology and orthopaedics to emergency rooms and special examinations such as ERCP.
The X Mobile patient table is available in versions with and without electrical height adjustment. Thanks to its sophisticated battery management system, there is no need for annoying cables on the floor.
As a work in progress, this year we are showing for the first time a version with table top tilting to achieve a regular and inverse Trendelenburg position for even better patient care in emergencies and during special examinations.
