Would you like to get in toch with or reconnect with the Dutch Life Sciences & Health sector? Then visit our Health~Holland MEDICA meet-up on Thursday 19 November.

The meet-up will kick-off at 15.30h (CET) with a short plenary session. After the plenary session, the networking party will start on ou interactive networking platform.
On this platform, you will have the opportunity to join group talks or have one-on-one meetings with fellow organisations from the international LSH sector. The platform will be open until 17.00h so if you can't make it at 15.30h then you can log on later. It's all up to you! Switching on your webcam will add to the interation and fun.

Top sector Life Sciences & Health: for vital citizens in a healthy economy

The Dutch Life Sciences & Health (LSH) sector is one of nine "top sectors" in the Netherlands. The top sectors are designated by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and are selected on their ability to contribute substantially to global societal challenges. Health~Holland is the top sector's communication channel.

The top sector LSH entails a broad scope of disciplines, from pharmaceuticals to medtech, from healthcare infrastructure to vaccination. In order to realise its mission - vital citizens in a healthy economy - the top sector buildes on the strengths of the Dutch Life Sciences & Health sector to address the biggest societal challenges in prevention, cure and care: improving the quality of life (vitality) while restraining the costs of healthcare.

The topsector LSH initriates and stimulates multi disciplinary public private partnership (PPP) to valorise innovation. By attracting financial means, sharing best practices and univocal Health~Holland sector communication, the top sector boosts a productive infrastructure.

Task Force Health Care

Improve healthcare together by connecting the right people!

Already since 1996, the Task Force Health Care's mission is: 'To provide a structural contribution to the improvement of healthcare infrastructures in emerging and developing countries by a maximum use of Dutch expertise and technology'. She wishes to achieve this by stimulating the cooperation between industry, NGO's, government authorities and knowledge institutions in projects and program's.

Currently the TFHC consists of companies, knowledge institutions and NGO's, and on top of that the TFHC has a direct connection with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and development coorperation and the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The Task Force Health Care facilitates the cooperation through a multifunctional platform: it organises meetings, seminars, network events, trade missions, Holland pavilions at exhibitions, provides market information, studies and research and besides that it maintains an exhaustive (inter)national network.

Netherlands Business Support Office, Stuttgart

Netherlands Business Support Offices (NBSO's) are offices commissioned by the Dutch ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economic Affairs (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) to support Dutch companies with their activities in foreign markets.

The NBSO Stuttgart supports Dutch companies that want to trade or invest, or are looking for business partners, in Germany. The NBSO Stuttgart offers general information about doing business in Germany, business opportunities, interesting developments and growing market sectors. Our core area of work is the German healthcare market including medical technology.

The NBSO offers services tailored to the respective companies, such as matchmaking and specific questions concerning market entry. Besides that, the NBSO visits Dutch companies at fairs or seminars in their working area, and supports Dutch organisations with organising collective business activities. 

Finally, the NBSO functions as a liaison office for Dutch economic clusters and there counterparts in Germany.
