Serum Replacement
Panexin, the serum replacement developed by PAN-Biotech can be used for many cell types to replace FBS. Due to carefully selected and pretested raw materials Panexin batches are very homogeneous. Therefore, the complex batch testing known from FBS ca be omitted. Until today Panexin has been successfully applied in the industry not only as FBS replacement, but also as an efficient supplement in Feed Media.

Bovine Serum
PAN-Biotech has been delivering European researchers and pharmaceutical manufacturers with high quality FBS since 1988. All serum processing steps take place in PAN-Biotech's own production facilities. Pooling, sterile filtration and aseptic filling take place in clear room atmospheres set up according to GMP guidelines. Raw material is obtained exclusively from facilities listed in the European Union TRACES system. PAN-Biotech warrants the submission of a complete documentation.

Plastic saving with liquid media in bags
PAN-Biotech offers a broad portfolio of liquid media, also in 2D bags or 3D bags. The range includes media from PAN-Biotech as well as customer formulations.
With the use of bags, plastic consumption can be reduced enormously by dispensing with PET bottles. By using only one 50L bag, a plastic volume of more than 10kg can be saved. (A 50L bag replaces 100 500ml bottles with a plastic weight of 0.1kg / bottle).

Media
At PAN-Biotech, perfect raw materials and the high level of technology guarantee first-class media quality. Water is the most important component of liquid media, which is why the purity of the water is of exceptional importance for the quality of the medium. The water we generally use has an endotoxin value of <0.005 EU / ml and is therefore of the highest purity. Our media will be in quarantine until the quality control procedures are completed. This guarantees excellent quality.
