Furukawa Ni-Ti Tube has been selected for many medical devices such as Stents. Available in wide range of sizes with the strict OD & ID dimensions throughout the length assuring the tight WT uniformity to meet different requirements for various customers.
Furukawa has unique vacuum melting and production lines. The most durable (good fatigue life) alloys available in the market are manufactured through fine control of the disperse of inclusions. Our alloy conforms with ASTM F 2063, the Ni-Ti alloy standard for medical devices.

Furukawa has a complete line of Ni-Ti wires to meet every needs of your medical devices. In addition to the superior super-elasticity and straightness, you have choices of stiffness and surface finishes to find the best wire for your application.
【Super-elastic Ni-Ti】 All Furukawa NT-E4 and NT-N super-elastic wires are made in-house from ingots. Our integrated manufacturing process realizes products to meet details of your requests on strength of super-elasticity to finish of wire surface. Our wires are highly favored by major medical device makers world wide.
【FHP-NT】 A Ni-Ti wire with high stiffness like no other, FHP-NT is 3 times stiffer than the ordinary Ni-Ti wires. It does not have yield point. It is a Furukawa patented product.
【Super-elastic Ni-Ti-Co】Now, let’s take a look at a revolutionary Ni-Ti super-elastic alloy! Our NT-K wire has much higher Upper Plateau Stress than Ni-rich binary alloy. NiTi F-ELI (Extra Low Inclusion) Wire
The 1st material who guarantees Inclusion Size: ≦15μm and Area%: ≦0.5%.

Pt-cored NiTi Wire
Furukawa developed a Pt-Cored Ni-Ti wire for high visibility under the x-ray observation.
Ni-Ti alloy with a Platinum core made the wire with high radiopacity clearly visible under the x-ray without spoiling its super-elasticity. The wire is available in 0.05~1.0mm diameter with a core area ratio of 10~20%.
