CHEMOTHERAPY/ONCOLOGY DRUG PREPARATION AND ADMINISTRATION SYSTEMS

ONCOERA VIAL
Oncoera Vial vented vial adapters neutralizes vial pressure to minimize aeresols and surface contamination, and eases drug extraction with its hydrophobic filter. Thus, hospital personnel, preparation and working environment are protected.

It is designed to provide safe and easy transfer of medicines.
It maintains the sterility of the drugs.
It reduces the risk of infection and cross-contamination.
It has a perfect structure that allows comfortable and safe grip.
It has a snap-on structure that provides complete locking with the vial ( REF VA101F.20 ).
It encircles the vial.
It has special design that prevents decay of cork stopper into the vial ( REF VA101F.20 ).
The cannals that allow the full withdrawal of the preparation.
0.2 micron hyphrophobic double filtration system balancing the negative pressure in the vial. · Low dead space and high flow rate.
Product ranges – 13 mm / 14 mm / Universal / Micro
ONCOERA VIAL VENTED VIAL ADAPTER
Swab the vial with 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and allow it to dry.
Remove the protective sheath from the spike.
Hold the body of the needle-free valve and insert the vial access device into the center of the vial ensuring the vial is on a flat, solid surface.
Ensure the adapter and spike are entering vertically and not tilted or at an angle.
Push firmly using a twisting motion until the spike enters the vial.
Swab the top of the needle-free valve with 70% IPA and allow it to dry.
Connect the Oncoera Safe attached syringe to the needle-free valve of Oncoera vented vial adapter on a hard and flat surface
Inject the desired amount of diluents into the vial, keeping both the vial and spike upright and in the center of the septum.
Invert the vial and withdraw the desired amount of solution.
Disconnect the syringe by holding onto the valve portion of the Oncoera vial adapter with one hand and, with the other, hold the Oncoera safe attached syringe or other compatible closed male luer.
Important Tips
Do not inject fluid while the vial is inverted
If the filter “wets out”, aspirate it using an empty syringe to create negative pressure
Do not insert the spike at an angle or in a tilted fashion
Do not hold the vent while inserting the spike into the vial
Do not use the vial access device to access more than one vial
Always swab the needle-free valve prior to accessing it

ONCOERA SAFE
These connectors are used for safe preparation and transport of hazardous drugs. Oncoera Safe adapters create a closed system for syringes and IV management kits and minimize the risk of exposure to these dangerous drugs during drug preparation, transport, management and disposal.

It helps to reduce surface contamination and prevent leakage when transferring medicines.
It connects with needle-free ven valve quickly and easily.
It minimizes the risk of drug exposure.
It helps prevent accidents caused by the injector.
It provides safe preparation, transportation and application.
It is compatible with all standard luer connectors.
It is compatible with NIOSH requirements for the transport of hazardous drugs.
Its chemical compatibility is proved.
It is available for use with IV administration kits.
It has a high flow rate.

ONCOERA IV
One of the most common problems in intravenous treatment is cannula and catheter obstruction. Cannula obstruction causes loss of vascular access for this reason there is a need for establish new vascular access. As this operation is an invasive procedure, the risk of complications increases as well as discomforts the patient, takes the time of the nurse and increases the cost of the treatment. Unidirectional Needle-free Connectors are manufactured as a solution to the problem of cannula blockage.

They are effective connectors against infection and cross-contamination risks.

It is suitable for use with all luer lock connectors.
It is easy to clean due to its flat and smooth surface.
It forms microbiological barrier for 7 days.
It is easily disinfected.
It prevents the risk of needle stick injury.
The first filling volume is very low or the flow is not affected.
It is compatible with blood products and oncology medicines.
While providing needle-free IV entry, it removes the risk of needle-puncture injury.
Chemical contamination risks are reduced due to the valve inhibits spillage or exposure of medicine. It forms an effective barrier for microbial contamination when wiped with an alcoholic pad.
Needle-free access reduces the risk of particle contamination by preventing membrane decay and needle puncture injuries.
DEHP free
There are different options and models with single, double, triple, quartet connected.

ONCOERA LINE TRANSFER SETS
Drugs used in cancer treatment should be prepared, applied and disposed under special conditions due to their toxic effects.

It is extremely important for the efficacy of the treatment that the medicines prepared in accordance with the protocol to be administered at the correct rate and at the right dose.

Oncology application sets are the safest solution for outpatient or inpatient treatments or in situ chemotherapy applications keeping the patient comfort in the foreground.

Needle-free connectors are used in Oncoera Line Transfer Sets providing a closed system.
Light-protected set options are available for treatments that require light protection during application.
For drugs with paclitaxel-active substances such as Anzatax, Taxol, Taxel, Taxotere, 0.22 micron filter sets should be used.
Polyurethane or DEHP free PVC tubing sets are available.
Integrated valve options are available to prevent free flow.
With integrated security components, it creates a closed system including the preparation phase from beginning to end of the application. Workload is significantly reduced.
It saves time and money.
It maintains closed system until connected to patient.
Users are not contaminate with drugs.

With integrated security components, it creates a closed system including the preparation phase from beginning to end of the application. A particle filter in the drip chamber with a pore size of 15 μm or less prevents the particles from being infused.
The bacterial air vents inside the spike allows the infusion solution to be ventilated without contamination risks.
Closed system minimizes air embolism and chemical contamination risks.
More than one infusion solution can be prepared at once more hygienically and faster.
Workload is significantly reduced.
It saves time and money.
It maintains closed system until connected to patient.
Users are not contaminate with drugs.
