Leak tester CETATEST 825 - New!

The CETATEST 825 is the fourth generation of CETA differential pressure testers.

The differential pressure leak test is based on the comparison of the pressures in the test part volume with the pressure in a tight reference volume. It can be used for fully automatic leak test processes within the cycle time of the production line.

The integrated 7-inch touch-screen with an intuitive operable graphical user interface makes it possible to display a wide range of information (for example, measurement curves, histograms). Operation is possible both via the touch-screen and via a dual-jog dial. Separate start / stop buttons ensure operating safety even in harsh industrial environments.

The memory stores more than 1 million measurement results and 256 test programs.

The product is available from Q4 / 2019.

Mass Flow Tester CETATEST 615

The CETATEST 615 is a fully automated mass flow tester for the detection of small leaks in large volume test parts. The measurement method is based on the principle of the thermal mass flow measurement.

By using a previously pressurised reservoir volume leakages can be measured without the disturbing effects of a pressure regulation. Temperature effects are automatically compensated. The mass flow caused by the leakage is displayed directly for standard conditions, which can be parameterised.

Flow Tester CETATEST 915

The flow tester CETATEST 915 is used to measure the flow using compressed air. The device contains a measurement system consisting of a laminar flow element (LFE) and a differential pressure sensor. In the direct test method the air, provided by the internal pressure regulator, flows through the measuring section before it enters the test part. In the indirect test method the measuring section is located behind the test part. Due to the special design of the measuring section a laminar flow is generated. The resulting pressure difference is directly proportional to the volume flow.

Leak Tester CETATEST XS

The CETATEST XS is a compact, cost-effective and full automatically working leak tester for the detection of untight parts within the cycle time of the production process. The leak tester uses a gauge pressure sensor for the measurement of the pressure loss caused by the leakage in the test part.

The suitable tester for every testing task - CETA offers a wide range of leak and flow testers

CETA Testsysteme GmbH as a manufacturer of leak and flow testing devices has more than 30 years of experience in industrial testing technology. Compressed air and hydrogen are used as test media. Several thousand CETA test devices are used in production lines by well-known industrial customers all over the world.

In series production a wide variety of products are tested for tightness, e.g. microswitches with a volume of 0.1 ml up to tanks of 1,000 litres. Depending on the application CETA leak testers with gauge pressure or differential pressure sensors are used. Available pressure ranges are between -1 and 30 bar up to 400 bar with the pressure rise method (e.g. testing of injection valves). Products whose flow rate is tested include membranes, filters and cooling ducts. With CETA flow testers a range from 3 ml/min to 200 l/min can be mapped by different laminar flow elements. The tightness of large-volume test parts can be tested by tightness testers with calorimetric mass flow sensor (available measuring ranges 10 to 600 ml/min). Very low leak rates up to 10-6 mbar*l/s can be detected with hydrogen leak testers. The usual industrial interfaces are available for the test devices.

The decision as to which test method is suitable depends, among other things, on whether the test part is directly fillable (e.g. container) or encapsulated (e.g. watches). In addition the production cycle, the specifications for measuring equipment capability and also the temperature of the test part during the test must be observed.

Finding the suitable instrument for a defined testing task requires specific specialist knowledges. Due to its many years of experience in the implementation of testing tasks, combined with its own product development, CETA provides customers with comprehensive support in finding the optimum solution.
