Portable electronic system for oxygen therapy 3/30-Medprom

А-ИВЛ/ВВЛп-3/30-«Medprom»

А-ИВЛ/ВВЛп-3/30 – «Medprom» electronic ventilator is intended for conducting the following pressure-limited oxygen or air mixture ventilation modes: controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV), proportional assist ventilation (PAV), oxygen therapy (inhalation) with the possibility to set pause before exhale and control inhale attempt during the pause. The apparatus may be used for mobile intensive care and resuscitation, at home, in medical transportation, during rescue operations and also in intensive-care units in medical facilities.

The device is intended for adults and children age 6 and older.

It has a possibility to work from any source of compressed oxygen with outlet pressure from 0,2 to 0,5 MPa (including an oxygen cylinder), as well as domestic, industrial or onboard electricity and an internal accumulator.

Power supply is provided by on-board transportation power supply 9,5-30V DC voltage, with 15W maximum power consumption, or from an industrial DC 220V 50 Hz power source with using power supply unit, included in the kit, or using embedded power supply – accumulator with 1,1 A·h capacity, rated voltage 12V, with automatic charger.

The apparatus provides the following resuscitation (respiratory) procedures:

1) Controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) for adults and children aged over 6 years old;

2) Proportional assist ventilation (PAV) for adults and children aged over 6 years old;

3) Oxygen therapy (inhalation) with oxygen or oxygen/air mixture for adults and children aged over 6 years old.

4) Oxygen therapy (inhalation) with the possibility to set pause before exhale and control inhale attempt during the pause for adults and children aged over 6 years old.

CMV mode for adults and children aged over 6 the device provides:

·         minute ventilation during CMV with oxygen-air mixture within 1 to 25 L/min, possible deviation from set values - 15%;

·         minute ventilation during CMV with oxygen within 1 to 15 L/min, possible deviation from set values - 15%;

·         ventilation frequency within 10 to 40 L/min, possible deviation from set values ± 3% .

·         inhale to exhale ratio 1:2

·         concentration of oxygen in air mixture from 60 ± 5%;

·         maximum safe pressure, limited by safety valve, 80 cmH2O;

·         control and limitation of respiratory gas pressure supplied in outlet breathing circuit range from 15 to 50 cmH2O;

·         pressure control less than 5 cmH2O in outlet breathing circuit;

·         possibility to operate from any source of compressed oxygen with outlet pressure 0,2 to 0,5 MPa.

PAV mode for adults and children aged over 6 the device provides:

·         regulation of tidal volume during PAV with oxygen-air mixture:
- lower limit – max 0,2L,
- upper limit – min 1,2L;

·         inhalation time control from 0,5 to 2,0sec;

·         concentration of oxygen in air mixture from 60 ± 5%;

·         maximum safe pressure, limited by safety valve 80 cmH2O;

·         control and limitation of respiratory gas pressure supplied in outlet breathing circuit range from 15 to 50 cmH2O;

·         possibility to operate from any source of compressed oxygen with outlet pressure 0,2 to 0,5 MPa.

Inhalation mode for adults and children aged over 6 the device provides:

·         minute inhalation air/oxygen mixture within 1 to 40 L/min, possible deviation from set values - 15%;

·         minute inhalation of oxygen within 1 to 30 L/min, with 15% possible deviation from set values;

·         concentration of oxygen in air mixture from 60 ± 5%;

·         maximum safe pressure, limited by safety valve, 80 cmH2O;

·         control and limitation of respiratory gas pressure supplied in outlet breathing circuit range from 15 to 50 cmH2O;

·         pressure control less than 5 cmH2O in outlet breathing circuit;

·         possibility to work from any source of compressed oxygen with outlet pressure from 0,2 to 0,6 mPa.

Acoustic and visual alarm signals for:  high and low airway pressure, patient circuit leakage, apnoe, high respiration rate, low battery, inhale attempt during CMV.

Weight (no gas cylinder or reducer) less than 3kg.

Maximum dimensions (mm): 210 x 116 x 150 mm

Internal battery minimal operating time is 4 hours (1,5 hours for inhalation mode).

Maximum time to full charge is 4 hours.

MEDPROM 3/30-A

MEDPROM 3/30-A enables conduction of the following ventilatory procedures:

1)   Automatic Adaptive Volume-guaranteed Ventilation

2)   CPR mode

3)   Conventional user-configurable ventilation modes:

-     Controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV)

-       Assist/control ventilation (A/C)

-       Oxygen therapy mode

Ventilation can be performed with pure oxygen or with a mixture of oxygen and air.

Ventilation modes are suitable for adult and children from 6.  Gas can be delivered either invasively (endotracheal tube) or non-invasively (mask).

Device operates either from an inbuilt battery and an attached gas cylinder, or from external gas supply system of 0.2 to 0.6 MPa and AC or DC power source. It may be used in medical facilities, intensive care units, ambulances, rescue vehicles and during medical home visits. This modification has a voice help system, which can be disabled if preferred.

This device is intended for use by qualified medical personnel trained in lung ventilation.

This device is intended for use at normal temperature and altitude. All values indicated at the front panel of this device are accurate within deviations stated in technical characteristics.

Changes in altitude will not affect pressure settings. However, delivered tidal volume increases and respiratory rate decreases with increasing altitude. At high altitudes it is recommended to use an external spirometer to monitor tidal volume accuracy and to compensate the values to desired.
