Compression therapy equipment

Our products

Product category: Compression therapy equipment

This innovative Class II medical device features a biomechanically active but unobtrusive design and state-of-the-art construction materials to simultaneously increase blood flow, offload the wound and protect the foot from further injury. Built-in monitoring software ensures accurate treatment data capture and optimal patient engagement with treatment.

PulseFlowDF utilises cutting-edge wearable technology to combine two proven treatment strategies - offloading and intermittent pneumatic compression.

Worn during waking hours, the lightweight shin unit is inconspicuous under clothing, minimising the social stigma of treatment often associated with other treatment modalities such as removable cast walkers. In contrast to total contact cast therapy, the entire PulseFlowDF device is removable to enable patients to undertake the essential activities of daily living and to minimise the risk of contralateral tissue damage during sleep.

Evidence for Excellence

'What evidence is there to support our current practice?'

The Vascular Society for Great Britain and Ireland asked the above question at their 2018 conference theme 'Evidence for Excellence'.

As we gather insight and data on clinical trials currently using PulseFlow Technologies for a non invasive post operative aid to healing, we are continuing our mission to reach out and connect with Vascular Surgeons, Nurses and Scientists interested in wearable technology.

Daniel Blackman will be at MEDICA offering a full device demonstration to help teams understand exactly how the PulseFlowDF surge increases blood flow using intermittent plantar compression.

Professor Alexander M. Seifalian - Division of Surgery and Interventional Science, University College London says, "PulseFlowDF produced statistically significant increases in both oxygenation and flow of venous blood from the foot”.
