SurgiScope® was one of the former systems, it is a robotized tool-holder designed for surgical neuro-navigation and was developed by our engineers at the company early beginnings. Specifically designed for microscope-assisted neurosurgical applications. Equipped with numerous automated functions and ergonomic interfaces, the SurgiScope® is controlled by an easy-to-use touch-screen and, equipped with an instrument holder kit, the SurgiScope® can hold and precisely position endoscopic tools or biopsy needles. The surgeon no longer needs to lift the microscope eyepiece to see surgical display screens as,pioneer in virtual reality, the SurgiScopes image injection module displays correlated data in the microscope oculars, directly within the surgeons field of view. Even if SurgiScope® was a real technical success, some among the 40 sold during the past 20 years are still used in practice, this product is not promoted and sold any more by ISIS.
