Flexicode

High quality coding of individual packaging
The Flexicode is the ideal labeling system when variable data must be printed directly on the film without passing through the label. The Flexicode uses digital thermal transfer technology. The process ensures exceptionally good print quality with high reliability. The product also stands out for its high working speed and simple handling. Another feature in favor of the use of the Flexicode is its simple maintenance which is carried out in part by the numerous diagnostic functions.

Simple handling
The Flexicode is used through a graphic display with a membrane keyboard composed of 10 keys and through the touch panel it also allows unskilled personnel to use them in a simple and immediate way. The clear menu structure divided by functional groups allows a quick and easy use when changing the product. Thanks to the intuitive menu guide, errors are reduced already during data entry. Access to the menu can also be password protected to achieve optimal security.

Dynacode

It is the new high resolution printing unit, it can be easily implemented on all vertical and flowpack packaging machines on the market.

The machine is distinguished by the combination, on a single printer model, of the two conventional, intermittent and continuous printing systems. In continuous mode the thermal head remains stationary, ready to print at the first signal of the packaging machine, while the packaging film runs under it. In the intermittent one, instead, the head moves in a programmed way, transferring the data to be printed on the film during the stop phase typical of intermittent motion packaging machines.

SUMMARY
  • Quality at low costs
    Dynacode requires less frequent replacements of the inking ribbon thanks to the use of thermal tapes with a length of up to 900 meters. The high capacity of the inking ribbon therefore allows direct reduction of management and production costs.
    For optimal use of the transfer belt, the ‘Shift’ and ‘Save Start’ optimization is also available alongside the standard optimization, which allows you to reduce the space between the individual layouts for the length of the reel up to 1 mm. This avoids excess prints and guarantees a constantly high print quality. The automatic thermal ribbon saving system reduces downtime and allows even greater use of ribbons.

  • Exceptional flexibility
    The Dynacode printer offers the best flexibility because it allows you to easily switch between intermittent and continuous printing. In continuous printing, the print head remains still while the packaging film runs continuously under it. Printing takes place during the operation of the system. In the intermittent process, the print head moves to the film following a programmable displacement pattern, and then moves into the starting position. Printing takes place during a short machine stop, e.g. while the product is inserted into the package.

  • Speed and rhythm
    Thanks to the lightness and precision of the head guide, the Dynacode system is able to achieve a high production return in both the intermittent and continuous versions. Furthermore, the floating head housing compensates for the slight parallelism errors of the counter-plate / counter-roller. The real-time marking of variable data, lot numbers, date and time is possible thanks to a special software specially created, which allows a very rapid processing of data.

The years of the foundation.
ALFAService starts the business selling film and wrapping material for packaging. In collaboration with a well-known packaging machine company, it begins to produce and install the first hot-jet printers and dot-matrix printers.

1993
Following the new requirements of the market, given the limits of the needle and hot systems, the most innovative digital thermal transfer printer SPRINT 840 is studied and proposed on the market: the first without the use of clichés able to print complex high quality texts on large areas, designed specifically for multi-storey machines such as, for example, automatic thermoforming machines. This allowed to realize customized solutions in various productive sectors: food industry, pharmaceutical and medical industry, cosmetics and mechanics.

1996
The new SPRINT 842 is produced, an evolution of 840, which allows a wider printing area and therefore the possibility to print other data in addition to the expiry date and lot.

2003
It is the year of the SPRINT 3000 series. A particularly flexible and reliable printer able to meet the needs of the market, both in terms of performance and quality. Between 2003 and 2009, the X version was produced, a high-speed printer able to keep up with market and packaging developments.

2009
Start the study of the innovative XPRINT system, an HD digital inkjet printer capable of printing large formats just like flexographic printers but without the need to have a printing roller for each product and an additional printer for variable data (batch, expiry .. ). The first prototype is produced towards the end of 2009.

2010
The real production of XPRINT begins

2012
In the design phase a new four-color printing system arrives, which will revolutionize the digital printers market.

2012 – 2016 Today
ALFAService is a leader in the field of digital coding and marking. This leadership is confirmed by the presence of Alfaservice printers in the most important Italian and foreign companies.
