What is Pregnabit?

The world’s first comprehensive telemedical solution for fetal health monitoring
Nearly 60 years ago, in 1957 Orvan Hess and Edward Hon developed the first device for continuous monitoring of the heart rate of the fetus. Since then, CTG equipment has undergone a number of upgrades. Time has come for a breakthrough.
Nothing can replace the experience and knowledge of professional medical staff. Pregnabit is a telemedical device, designed to support the work of doctors and midwives. It enables CTG monitoring of pregnant women at any time and anywhere, especially when an extra visit to the doctor’s office is not possible or necessary. Pregnabit combines well-known and proven features of professional stationary CTG device, which is used in hospitals worldwide, with the features of modern mobile devices. Pregnabit sets a new trend in the monitoring of the patients. It significantly raises the level of prenatal prevention. It is a medical device, available exclusively for doctors and midwives.

About us

Company details

Our mission is to support health care professionals,
to bring every pregnancy to happy end.

Nestmedic is a privately owned telemedicine company headquartered in the heart of Europe – Wroclaw, Poland.

Our story started 6 years ago, when a personal tragedy inspired our CEO (Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, PhD) to design and introduce a patient friendly, clinical grade, mobile CTG. The company was officially established in 2014, after the first rounds of fund- raising. The product and platform were ready in 2016 and market launch will start at the end of 2016. After the model is qualified in the EU and after the necessary clearances are secured, Nestmedic is planning its launch in the U.S.

Nestmedic’s CEO, Patrycja Wizińska-Socha, was awarded the title of „Innovator of the Year 2016” by MIT Technology Review. Global telecoms technology accelerator Orange Fab awarded Nestmedic a distinction in Poland. Nestmedic has also received a medicine technology award – a distinction for “the most innovative product at the fair” by the organizer of the International Healthcare Exhibition held in Warsaw (WIHE).

Our team consists of experts in R&D, design, engineering, software, medicine, finance and marketing.
