Liquid Plate Sealer® is designed for stabilizing coated ELISA plates and seals them after immobilization of the antibodies/antigens. It seals with a uniform stabilizing layer demonstrating good solubility without affecting the assay afterwards. Plates treated with Liquid Plate Sealer® can be stored for long periods after drying or for shorter time periods under moist conditions. Liquid Plate Sealer® is free of serum proteins like BSA.
HRP-Protector™ is a long-term stabilizer for horseradish peroxidase (HRP) coupled to antibodies or Neutravidin/Streptavidin. HRP-Protector gives peroxidase conjugates the crucial long-term stability over several years even when stored in low concentrated ready-to-use dilutions. HRP-Protector™ can be used directly as an assay buffer for incubating the HRP-conjugates.
LowCross® stands for superior reliability by neutralizing assay interferences including HAMA-derived ones. The LowCross-effect minimizes matrix effects, cross-reactivities and nonspecific binding. Thus several washing steps like in sequential assays are not necessary and one-step-incubation protocols without multiple washing can be done by using this assay diluent.
HRP-Stab gives peroxidase-antibody conjugates the crucial long-term stability over several years, even when stored as a ready-to-use solution.
Antibody Stabilizer conserves the structure of proteins and antibodies preventing them from losing functionality due to storage. Just dissolve proteins or antibodies with Antibody Stabilizer and store in the refrigerator.
Choose from TRIS- or PBS-based Stabilizer. Allowing you to select the buffer base, which is optimal for your assay.
The formulation of LowCross-Buffer® helps to reduce interference in immunoassays. Thus quality of detection can be significantly improved. Nonspecific binding of the antibodies, negative effects of disturbing substances and low or medium affinity cross reactivities of the antibodies are minimized. In addition matrix effects, coming for example from blood sera or plasma specimen are reduced. That means that matrix effects no longer worsen detection of analytes. Minimization of all this negative effects upgrades the quality of the assay and improves the reliability of the results. LowCross-Buffer® is free of phosphate.
The Blocking Solution saturates free binding capacities on plastic surfaces, membranes or other protein binding surfaces. The Blocking Solution inhibits nonspecific and unwanted binding to surfaces. This leads to significantly reduced background and improved sensitivity of the assay. The active constituent of The Blocking Solution is based on a chemically modified, highly purified casein.
Coating Stabilizer without animal derived ingredients for antibodies and antigens coated on polystyrene- or glass-surfaces
Liquid Plate Sealer® animal-free offers the same good characteristics as Liquid Plate Sealer® but without having animal derived ingredients. Due to this fact it is a suitable coating stabilizer for veterinary diagnostics.
Additionally it is possible to add Liquid Plate Sealer® animal-free directly and without any washing steps after the completed coating process. Therefore you can simplify and speed up your production process.
SmartBlock™ prevents in many assays nonspecific and unwanted binding to surfaces. This leads to significantly reduced background and improved sensitivity of the assay. SmartBlock™ represents for many assays an excellent alternative compared to BSA-based solutions. Problems of interactions and cross-ractivities arising from BSA, which is present in many blocking solutions are a priori avoided by the use of SmartBlock™, as it is devoid of serum proteins like BSA.
Coating Buffer is designed for adsorptive immobilization of proteins and antibodies on plastic surfaces (for example microtiterplates) or other protein binding surfaces. Depending on the surface as well as on proteins or antibodies the required incubation time can vary. Consequently, individual optimization of the incubation procedure is recommended.
Depending on the protein or the antibody the pH of the Coating Buffer is crucial for efficient immobilization. Select from Coating Buffer pH 7.4 and pH 9.6, as the pH-value can have an influence on the steric structure of proteins or antibodies, thus affecting their immobilization.
For the optimization of the coating procedure of a newly developed immunoasay we strongly recommend testing the two Coating Buffers side by side.
Sample Buffer is a dilution buffer for specimen and antibodies for direct use in immunoassays. It is designed for trouble free assays without interference. If you have background or false-positives - for example derived from cross-reactivities or matrix effects - we recommend using LowCross-Buffer® rather than Sample Buffer. Sample Buffer is also available without Tween or other detergents for use in immunohistochemistry
BSA-Block saturates free binding capacities on plastic consumables and other surfaces like ELISA plates and blotting membranes. BSA-Block is the standard blocker for many applications. If a blocker based on BSA is efficient enough for an assay, BSA-Block is an alternative to universal useable and more complex blockers. If you experience background due to nonspecific binding when using BSA-Block, we recommend our much more efficient product The Blocking Solution.
Washing steps are needed to remove unbound and excessive components which are able to interfere with the assay. Washing Buffer is optionally available based on TRIS or PBS. For immunohistochemistry we offer Washing Buffer without Tween and detergents.
Stripping buffer removes reaction solution and primary and secondary antibodies from Western blotting membranes. After stripping the membrane can be used for repeated detection (reprobing) with antibodies. Membrane is incubated in a vessel with Stripping Buffer for removing the antibodies. After the incubation with Stripping Buffer the membrane has to be washed with Washing Buffer and can be used for repeated detection.
