MICROPFebrile AntigensATH® is a range of stained bacterial antigen suspensions for use in slide or tube agglutination assays to detect, identify and quantitate antibody levels from patients with suspected Salmonella, Brucella or Rickettsial infections. In the presence of the corresponding antibody in the patients serum, the reagent suspension will agglutinate to form a visible result. Standardised suspensions of pathogenic bacteria are supplied in convenient dropper bottles for ease of use. Somatic antigens (Group O) are stained blue and Flagellar antigens (Group H) are stained red for identification and ease of reading.
