Company details

Kuraray Co., Ltd. launched the nonwoven fabric business in 1971, with the founding of Kuraray Chicopee Co. Ltd., initiated as a joint venture business with Johnson & Johnson. The business was later renamed several times before being transferred to Kuraray Kuraflex Co., Ltd., which operates the business today. Throughout a history spanning more than 40 years, we have been able to continue our operations thanks to your support. All the staff of our company would like to extend to you their heartfelt thanks.
Nonwoven fabrics are fiber materials that are extremely useful for making people's lives more convenient. The global nonwoven fabric market is experiencing growth and expansion driven by emerging markets and this is, without a doubt, a growth industry. Nonwoven fabric goods can be expected to reach every corner of the world in the future.
Since our foundation, we have sold a great many nonwoven fabric goods in both domestic and foreign markets. We supply a wide range of products in a multitude of sectors, including sanitary materials, baby and nursing care goods, general industrial goods, and various materials for the food service industry.
