Akzent X - The multi-purpose anaesthesia system including xenon anaesthesia

The motivation for Fritz Stephan GmbH to develop AKZENT X was to build a unit for economic xenon anaesthesia designed for everyday use. Looking at the wishes and requirements of our customers we were aware that AKZENT X also had to be able to deal with every conventional
anaesthesia method like Tiva, volatile anaesthetic agents and N2O. With AKZENT X, the hospital receives a system that is able to cover a broad spectrum of both newborn and adult anaesthesiology needs.

Sophie - The flexible Neonatology Ventilation System

The requirements for sensitive ventilation units in neonatology are growing continuously.
To meet those requirements, Fritz Stephan GmbH has developed the SOPHIE ventilation system based on state-of-the-art ventilation technology. By using SOPHIE, the individual ventilation strategy for the premature and newborn infant can be implemented easily and reliably.
Modern trigger technology permits flexible synchronization of invasive and non-invasive ventilation. With SPOC, Fritz Stephan GmbH offers an adaptive controller SpO2 controller which, for the first time, incorporates additional non-invasive ventilation into oxygen saturation control strategy.

FS Oxygen Supply Systems - The Concentrator-based Alternative Medical Oxygen Supply

Oxygen Supply when Needed

The FS Oxygen Supply Systems are of completely automated demand driven design. Ambient air is compressed through multiple oxygen concentrator modules. Part of this oxygen is compressed into an integrated buffer tank for clinical use, the remainder is directed back through the sieve-beds purging them for the next concentration phase. Once the oxygen reaches specifi ed pressure, the system switches to stand-by mode. When oxygen is consumed, pressure drops and the system automatically restarts concentration, bringing it back up to the specified pressure. Uninterrupted oxygen supply at the required pressure is secured.

SpaceSuit - Suit for the maintenance of body humidity and temperature in premature and newborn babies

Newborn infants, especially prematures, suffer from large water loss due to skin immaturity. In addition, they are unable to maintain their body temperature. This requires technically complex thermo- and water regulating devices to ensure the survival of the premature or newborn baby. The SpaceSuit by Fritz Stephan GmbH off ers a new solution to this problem.

Individual Microclimate
SpaceSuit consists of a transparent, skin friendly polyurethane material which encloses the newborn’s body like a gentle protective membrane, providing protection from postnatal loss of heat or humidity due to evaporation. Similar to the situation inside the womb, the infant is now able to stabilize and maintain the natural body temperature without additional physical strain. Th anks to its outstanding material characteristics, SpaceSuit is suitable for rapid primary care and gentle transport of the newborn to the ward. It may also be used for examinations inside NMR imaging devices. In addition, SpaceSuit may also be used for the prevention of nosocomial infections.
Th e perfect protection for our tiniest patients.
