Malsch clinical beds
The Impulse KL Series offers appropriate solutions for clinic and hospital equipment. With their innovative low voltage power concept, our clinical beds offer increased safety for patients and nursing staff. The integrated collision protection guarantees adequate floor clearance when inclining the bed, even when bed extension is activated.
The safety operating units are perfectly aligned with each other, and facilitate the targeted restriction of the patient hand control. The full range of functions is also available in battery mode.
Immediate reaction functionality in an emergency is provided by the bed front, which can be removed without tools, together with the CPR function.
The use of high quality materials guarantees outstanding stability with unladen weight. Enclosed, homogeneous surfaces also aid fast, thorough cleaning or disinfection.
Our cabling concept accommodates only one more plug socket on the bed. Other components can be added at any time.
The low care bed strikes the perfect balance between design and functionality. With a low position of just 25 cm, AURA is recommended as a fall prevention model. Its centrally braked, concealed castors offer optimum mobility without compromising the bed's home-like character. Malsch sets new standards in terms of safety and flexibility with the innovate, vertical side rail system of premium-quality aluminium.
The side rail's intentional external mounting meets the model's superior design standards, facilitating efficient, hygienic preparation and providing additional mounting options for accessories when lowered. The redesigned CPR release is easy to reach in all side rail positions as a result. The newly-developed, integrated bed extension ensures that the reclining surface can be expanded by up to 20 cm quickly and easily without compromising the appearance. No tools or additional protectors are required in the process.
AURA also convinces with its premium-quality materials and timeless design. Screw connections used for the AURA are deliberately concealed, allowing the bed's technical versatility to take a back seat to its aesthetic assets.
Highly effective germ prevention for Malsch care and hospital beds
Multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogens present an ever-increasing risk for care homes and hospitals. These pathogens are often found on surfaces and equipment in the patient's immediate environment. A study by Cheng et al* found that the most frequently touched items are handrails on care bed side rails, followed by bedside tables, patients files, bed frames, cupboards and other items.
The active surface protection offered by Malsch germstop-technology effectively stops the spread of viruses, bacteria and microorganisms, such as algae and fungi, on care and clinical beds, bedside cabinets and accessories. Coated elements continuously disinfect themselves, thus preventing the settlement of hazardous germs and pathogens and their subsequent transmission to occupants and staff.
Cleaning and hygiene procedures for products featuring Malsch germstop-technology are simplified considerably, costs are reduced and hygiene risks are minimised. Surfaces are migration-free and contain neither silver ions nor nanoparticles. There is no risk to health or the environment – the treated surfaces are officially approved for direct contact with food items.
