At MEDICA 2024, Spika Tech s.l. showed how VR improves diagnoses, optimizes training and enhances the quality of surgical procedures.
VR is also making impressive progress in medical training. The glasses-free stereoscopic system from Vision Engineering Ltd. enables ophthalmology and ENT-specific procedures to be trained. Surgeons can practice complex procedures in an ergonomic and realistic environment. VR reduces typical strains such as back pain, neck pain and eye fatigue that are often associated with traditional microscopes.
