Telemedicine and telemonitoring: exciting solutions from MEDICA 2025 – Part 2

The Guider Care ecosystem connects health data from various wearables with telemedicine apps. A GPT-based app is available for patients, providing an overview of their data, regular reports, and connections to doctors.

The Care Box is a modular set developed in cooperation with Docs in Clouds TeleCare GmbH. The core element of the box, the HUB, enables patients to communicate securely with medical service providers who can use the platform for diagnosis, monitoring, and documentation. The HUB is compatible with various Medisana measuring devices.

Phenyx was presented by Dr. Anna Reischl-Hajiabadi at the MEDICA INNOVATION FORUM. The platform is aimed at patients with phenylketonuria (PKU). It offers digital management including the transfer of laboratory values, a dashboard, diet management, medication reminders, telemedical consultations, and connection to a community.

The smart patch platform from pheal enables continuous monitoring of numerous biomarkers. It includes modules for analyzing sweat, tissue fluid, and capillary blood. pheal's goal is predictive healthcare that uses biomarkers to detect diseases before symptoms appear.

Preventis offers "SmarTest FIT", a test for occult blood in stool for home use. This can provide an early indication of intestinal tumors. The results can be evaluated directly on a smartphone via an app. The company also offers a calprotectin home test for IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) monitoring and a test to measure vitamin D levels.
