Forums & Conferences at MEDICA: Exchange on innovative topics and developments for visitors and experts

The “MEDICA Forums and Conferences” are an integral part of the trade fair. MEDICA offers free forums spread throughout the exhibition halls, as well as interesting special shows and activities.

The forums cover a wide range of topics, with something for everyone. The core topics in the  MEDICA INNOVATION FORUM include generative AI and big data, robotics, XR and digital twins, mobile health and medical wearables, 3D printing, the Internet of Medical Things and solutions for the hospital of the future.

As part of the forum, the MEDICA START- UP COMPETITION and the HEALTHCARE INNOVATION WORLD CUP will take place, in which the “Top12 Medical Start-ups 2024” and the “Top12 Health Techpreneurs 2024” will compete against each other.

At the MEDICA HEALTH IT FORUM leading experts from the industry will discuss the path to data-driven healthcare in high-profile talks and sessions.

Organized by Messe Düsseldorf with Techniker Krankenkasse (TK), the MEDICA ECON FORUM focuses on the topics of healthcare policy, hospitals and digitalization, digitalization and finance as well as healthcare provision.
During the  MEDICA TECH FORUMs, you can explore the German and international market environment, as well as the implementation of modern procedures in clinical practice. The focus will be on digital and AI patents, patenting medical procedures and software, AI and MDR and future patient care in medical practices.

The MEDICA LABMED FORUM bridges the gap between practice, research and patient care in laboratory medicine. The focus is on laboratory management, advances in diagnostics, AI and innovative developments in the life sciences, presented in short lectures and lively panel discussions.

The conferences include the Deutsche Krankenhaustag (the leading communication platform for decision-makers in German hospitals), the MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE and the International Conference on Disaster and Military Medicine (DiMiMED).
