Covid-19: innovations in the wake of the crisis

Dear Sir or Madam,

The corona pandemic has led to new requirements for medical care. For example, not only did ventilators have to be available at short notice in order to treat the seriously ill patients - many patients were not treated as inpatients in the first place in order to prevent infection and to keep capacities free. The Israeli joint stand at MEDICA 2020 will present innovations that meet precisely these requirements. In an interview, we asked in advance what you can expect.

Stay healthy!

Patient monitoring systems in the ICU sound up to 700 alarms on average per patient per day, which boils down to one alarm every two minutes. An excessive number of them are false alarms. This generates vast amounts of data, which can make it difficult for doctors and nurses to identify the most critical alarms to manage. It also has a negative effect on the treatment of intensive care patients.
