Covid-19 continues to expanding, studies have shown that the virus can remain in airborne for up to three hours under certain conditions, and airborne transmission risks need to be guarded. The two local science and technology companies RHT Industry Limited and Swanland AI have been working together to promote indoor air quality in high-risk areas, including campuses, as a preventive measure. With a grant of 2 million HKD from the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) under the Special Anti-Epidemic Program, the two companies are studying the use of an air purification system with artificial intelligence and big data to automatically adjust the wind direction, temperature and humidity in three schools to demonstrate how to effectively capture airborne bacteria and viruses and enhance the effectiveness of anti-pandemic measures.
