With the CL-R813, JVC offers radiologists the ideal colour monitor for reporting images of all modalities, such as DR, CT, MR and pathology. The 32" TFT LCD display impresses with a maximum brightness of 500cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The entry-level device reduces eye strain due to its high resolution and offers a comfortable reporting environment for diagnostic imaging.
Quality assurance made easy
Quality assurance of the 8 MP monitor is provided by the proven QA Medivisor Agent. "This allows our customers to safely perform the acceptance and constancy tests according to DIN 6868-157 in compliance with the specifications. Even the built-in sensors can be used for constancy testing," says Marcel Herrmann, Marketing Manager Medical Imaging. The intuitive and thus easy-to-use user interface enables effective management of daily operations in radiology.
Sensors provide stability
The CL-R813's sensor system consists of a front sensor and an ambient light sensor. "The former continuously measures luminance and colour on the display and reports the values to the control unit. This ensures very stable brightness and high colour fidelity. The latter detects the strength of the ambient light and compensates for it for optimal calibration," Herrmann explains.
In addition, the monitor includes a human sensor. This detects whether a doctor is sitting in front of the screen, which helps save energy when the monitor is not in use. This ensures, for example, that a doctor is not disturbed by quality control during reporting. In addition, the Uniformity Equaliser ensures stable images across the screen by correcting luminance and colour uniformity.
