New Bariatric Variable Height Examination Table

PROMOTAL has announced the launch of its latest model of electric examination tables. ATLAS, with a patient weight capacity of 385kg, has been specifically designed for the bariatric market. With the existing stretcher for obese patients, this new table reinforces PROMOTAL's offer for the bariatric market.

The new ATLAS table has a 46 cm low height, requiring minimal assistance from the practitioner and staff, for obese patients. The table can be adjusted to a height of 86cm, lifting the patient to the practitioners level, without stress or strain on the practitioner or the patient. The table's movements help maintain the patients dignity and reduces the likelihood of injury to both the doctor and patient alike.

The ATLAS table also boasts an 81 cm wide seat ensuring optimum patient comfort and support for special needs patients. The seamless upholstery also looks great and offers and easy-to-clean surface. The thick foam padding and built-in pillow offers additional patient comfort.

In 2004, the World Health Organization listed more than 300 million obese people, a number that continues to rise. With the number of obese people worldwide, growing at alarming rates, it is our duty to provide the necessary tools to ensure efficient patient care said PROMOTAL president Francois Nogrix.
