New X-ray technology for Covid-19 diagnosis

Dear Sir or Madam,

The lungs of people with covid-19 are usually examined using computed tomography (CT). It provides more image information compared to X-rays, but has the disadvantage of higher radiation exposure. A team from the Technical University of Munich has now researched how dark-field X-rays can be used to obtain more information about the lungs with lower radiation. Read more about this in our news.
