Medical Device Manufacturing Company TDM Co., Ltd. Wins ASPA Awards Grand Prize ‘Great Achievement’

Gwangju Techno Park announced on the 21st that its support company TDM Co., Ltd. won the grand prize at the ASPA Awards at the 27th Asia Science Park Association (ASPA) Annual Meeting held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

ASPA is a non-profit private international organization established to promote science, technology, and industrial economy in Asia. It is an association that possesses tangible and intangible infrastructure and know-how related to hosting international events such as conferences, research meetings, and multinational business consultation meetings.

The ASPA Annual Meeting, held sequentially in the Asian region, is attended by science parks, business incubators, universities, research institutes, regional innovation-leading organizations, and corporate officials from the Asian region.

At the ASPA Awards held at the ASPA Annual Meeting, TDM Co., Ltd., which passed the preliminary round with the recommendation of Gwangju TP, advanced to the final round and won the grand prize, beating out companies recommended by Iran and Turkey. This is the first great achievement in 14 years since Oisolution won the grand prize in 2010.
