Arizona Delegation Visits Hsinchu’s World-First AI Optical Fiber Innovative Medical Device Research Center.

An Arizona delegation recently visited the world-unique "AI Optical Fiber Innovative Medical Device Research Center" in Hsinchu, Taiwan. This center focuses on developing cutting-edge medical materials by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with fiber optics technology. The visit highlights the collaboration between USA and Taiwan in advancing medical innovations, especially in healthcare technologies. This could further strengthen international ties in AI-driven healthcare solutions.

 

The 2024 International Semiconductor Exhibition kicked off with Arizona Commerce Authority President Ms. Sandra Watson leading a delegation of over 30 industry, government, and academic representatives to Taiwan for a five-day exchange on technology and industry collaboration. On September 3, the delegation visited Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park and seven biotech firms, including the world’s first " AI Optical Fiber Innovative Medical Device Research Center." The visit emphasized strengthening USA -Taiwan cooperation in biotechnology and medical innovation, highlighting Arizona's growing role in the biotech industry, particularly in Phoenix.
