After more than 17 successful years of professional activity Christian Grosser, Director MEDICA and COMPAMED, leaves Messe Düsseldorf at his own request to take on new professional challenges. “We thank our colleague wholeheartedly for his great commitment, his longstanding service for our company and sincerely wish Christian Grosser all the very best and great success for his future career and personal life,” sums up Marius Berlemann, Chief Operating Officer of Messe Düsseldorf.
April 2008 saw Christian Grosser start his career at Messe Düsseldorf with a trainee programme in the division of national trade fairs. Responsible positions in the interpack portfolio of events were to follow – first as Junior Project Manager, later as Senior Project Manager. From 2014 to 2015 he was posted to serve as a Liaison Officer for Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai.
After his return he first assumed the position of Deputy Director in the Health & Medical Technologies portfolio, before – from September 2020 – assuming overall responsibility for the leading national trade fairs MEDICA and COMPAMED as well as numerous international events – including the MEDICAL FAIRs in Singapore, Thailand, India and China and also FAMDENT in India. As a leader he managed his team with great dedication and shaped the further development of his trade fair portfolio.
After Christian Grosser leaves the position “Director MEDICA and COMPAMED” will be temporarily filled by Michael Degen, Executive Director Trade Fairs at Messe Düsseldorf. As soon as succession has been settled a separate release will follow.
