The registration phase for the 15th MEDICA START-UP COMPETITION is now open! This international pitch competition is one of the world’s most important events for health startups and will once again showcase innovative solutions on the stage of the MEDICA INNOVATION FORUM during MEDICA 2026.
Start-ups from around the world have the opportunity to present their ideas to investors and an international audience of experts. Submissions may include new developments in the fields of AI in medicine, robotics, laboratory diagnostics, resilience (including cybersecurity), as well as the open category “Other Innovations.”
With the participation of several hundred startups, MEDICA is considered the most relevant meeting place for the global healthcare startup scene – this year alone, around 100 startups will participate in the MEDICA START-UP PARK.
Registration is open until September 10, 2026.
Running parallel to this is the application phase for the Healthcare Innovation World Cup, another international competition for forward-looking health tech solutions. Here, the focus is on innovations for the “Internet of Medical Things” (IoMT).
