Düsseldorf business delegation visits MEDICAL FAIR INDIA 2026

A high-ranking business delegation from Düsseldorf visited the Indian capital New Delhi for MEDICAL FAIR INDIA 2026. The delegation was led by Dr Stephan Keller, Lord Mayor of the state capital Düsseldorf, accompanied by Marius Berlemann, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf.

The visit by the Düsseldorf delegation underlines the growing importance of German-Indian economic relations, including in the healthcare sector. From 2026, MEDICAL FAIR INDIA will take place twice a year for the first time – in New Delhi and Mumbai – thereby strengthening its role in Messe Düsseldorf's global trade fair portfolio, which also includes MEDICA and COMPAMED.

The 31st edition of MEDICAL FAIR INDIA, which took place from 29 to 31 January 2026, brought together more than 350 exhibitors from over 14 countries and around 18,000 trade visitors from more than 30 nations, and is one of the most important platforms for medical technology and the healthcare industry in India.
