The MEDICA START-UP PARK is an exclusive platform that enables young companies to present their ideas and products. Start-ups from the fields of medical technology, diagnostics and digital health bring their revolutionary solutions to MEDICA 2024. With numerous networking opportunities, you will have the unique chance to make valuable contacts.
In addition, on November 12th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. the
13th MEDICA Start-up COMPETITION will take place at the MEDICA INNOVATION FORUM. The top 12 finalists will pitch their innovation live on site in front of a jury of experts.

Digital networking and telemedicine play a key role in securing the future of our hospitals and healthcare system. What can this look like? At MEDICA 2024, the special show HOSPITAL OF THE FUTURE will present innovative solutions for digital infrastructure, AI-supported patient care, telemedicine and efficient use of data.

Automotive Health enables users to record their health while driving and thus initiate preventive or curative measures. The Innovations Institute will be presenting three research vehicles in the pop-up area in Hall 12. Discover how sensors and measurement methods in the vehicle detect and react to possible fatigue or physical limitations. There will also be a racing simulator where you can test your skills live.

The 12th MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE is the top international platform uniting experts in sports medicine, sports science, healthcare, and technology. From November 13th to 14th 2024, attendees will explore topics such as longevity slowing down the ageing process, optimizing performance, and injury prevention through big data and AI. The agenda includes sessions on longevity, performance medicine, the future of sports, and cutting-edge tech for personalized training. Highlights include the “shark tank of tech innovation” and a guided innovation tour showcasing the latest advances in sports and healthcare.

16th Healthcare Innovation World Cup®

This year, more than 340 start-ups and scale-ups from over 60 countries submitted their solutions for the 16th Healthcare Innovation World Cup®. The expert jury selected the best solutions based on the level of innovation, technological feasibility, marketing and go-to-market approach, potential time-to-market, commercial potential and sustainability.

The top 12 finalists will pitch at the MEDICA INNOVATION FORUM on November 11, 2024, from 15:00 to 17:00 CET. This year, finalists will have the chance to win valuable prizes, including one-on-one meetings with investors and health tech experts, extensive media coverage, a place in the Hall of Fame, and more.
