Diagnostics right in the OR

Hello,

When it’s unclear during surgery whether a tumor has been fully removed, every minute – and every millimeter – counts. Ex vivo confocal laser scanning microscopy delivers high-resolution tissue images directly at the operating table – within minutes and without traditional staining. This improves margin assessment, shortens diagnostic turnaround times, and can help avoid follow-up procedures. Combined with AI analysis and telepathology, it becomes a powerful tool for more precise diagnostics, earlier treatment decisions, and better patient outcomes – serving as a meaningful complement to classical histology.

Meet Health.

Blood sample brings diagnosis in days

A new blood test analyzes thousands of proteins simultaneously and provides indications of genetic diseases within a few days. Especially for infants with unclear symptoms, this means faster help, more targeted therapies and less stressful diagnostics. A major step forward for doctors, parents and the healthcare system.

New mobility for paraplegics

A new system combines targeted electrical stimulation with robot-assisted training - individually controllable and mobile. Initial results show: Muscle functions can be partially reactivated. This enables more independent activity, freedom of movement and quality of life even with severe paralysis – a great potential for rehabilitation after spinal cord injuries.

Meet Future.

Live tissue imaging during surgery

Ex vivo confocal laser scanning microscopy provides real-time tissue images during surgery – without staining, in just a few minutes. This saves valuable time, reduces unnecessary follow-up procedures, and supports immediate clinical decision-making. For patients, that means less uncertainty, shorter treatment times, and improved healing outcomes.
