Beurer to showcase its new BM75 blood pressure monitors – designed for convenient transfer of measurements to smartphones – at MEDICA 2013
Beurer, specialists for medical prevention, diagnostics and therapy, will be showcasing product innovations from the medical sector, including the BM75 blood pressure monitor, at MEDICA (Hall 12, Stand 67) from 20 to 23 November. The new BM75 is fitted with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology*, which guarantees that measured values can be easily transferred to all smartphones that are compatible with NFC*.
The BM75 is NFC*-compatible and thus suitable for wireless transfer of measurements to smartphones. The smartphone is simply held over the blood pressure monitor display and the values are immediately saved to the HealthManager app, enabling data to be stored and managed easily. The blue touch-sensor operation, large white illuminated display and blue illuminated start/stop button improve ease of use. This medical product also has a patented resting indicator that only allows a valid measurement to be taken if the user is sufficiently rested mentally and physically. The device is also fitted with 2 x 60 memory spaces, a WHO indicator (WHO – World Health Organisation) and arrhythmia detection. Users can save the average value of all stored measurements and morning and evening blood pressure for the last 7 days.
Delivery scope and accessories
The measuring device, batteries, a storage pouch and a USB cable are included in delivery. The HealthManager software is available to download free of charge at www.update.beurer.com.
* NFC is a wireless transmission system for non-contact data exchange between devices that are simply held one over the other at a distance of a few centimetres. NFC enables measurements to be transferred to a smartphone and managed in HealthManager.
