The new company enters the territory with distribution and training partnership for the innovative taping products
Europe is about to get taped in an entirely new way. Nucap Medical, the new Toronto, Ontario-based company that developed and distributes SpiderTech, pre-cut tape-based therapeutic supports that facilitate a functional medicine approach to pain modulation and myofascial dysfunction, has partnered with K-Active Europe for the European distribution of SpiderTech products. The alliance will include certification training for the application of the sixteen pre-engineered therapeutic and performance enhancing supports presently available.
Made from the proven Nitto-Denko tape, the original kinesiology tape from Japan, SpiderTech will be distributed through K-Active Europe’s extensive network of providers and medical product distribution groups. Additionally, basic and advanced training programs that teach the SpiderTech application process will be added to K-Active Europe’s comprehensive educational offerings where the forty-member team of instructors shall provide SpiderTech certification courses to the over 5,000 K-Active Europe clinicians.
“Europe is an important first step in accelerating SpiderTech’s global presence,” stated Nucap Medical’s vice president of marketing Bill Payne. “Forging a strategic alliance with K-Active Europe, which has an impressive history of success in the therapeutic market, allows us to immediately fulfill the strong demand for SpiderTech products in Europe.”
“We are very excited to have found a new partner in Nucap Medical,” said K-Active Europe’s founder and chairman Siegfried Breitenbach. “Together with Nucap Medical and the support of Nitto-Denko of Japan, we will deliver the most innovative and complete therapy solutions for kinesiology taping. We look to optimize clinician’s therapeutic results and help their patients and athletes around the world with a safe and effective method.”
