Savience, the touchscreen clinic management specialists, is poised to offer its resource-saving and popular product Savience Assure to hospitals in other countries following highly successful deployments in hospitals across the UK.
Savience Assure enables hospitals to manage clinics more efficiently by providing a customisable technology that can track the progress of outpatients once they arrive at clinic using an appointment management system that can be integrated with existing IT infrastructure.
The system is straightforward to use and has proved very popular with patients and staff. Patients check themselves in for appointments using touchscreens and can update their personal details. They then receive directions to their clinic where they are discreetly called to appointment in consulting or treatment rooms by a number displayed on screen and/or by audio. Staff can monitor the arrival of patients and track their progress to and through clinics in real time using the Savience Clarity database linked to existing internal IT systems. The whole system is customisable to any clinic or hospital
UK hospitals installing Savience Assure have found that it saves significant resources, eliminates queuing and is used by patients of nearly all ages and abilities.
Roger Everitt, managing director of Savience said: “Recent partnerships with CSC and iSOFT, the two top IT suppliers to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), are giving UK hospitals faster and easier access to Savience Assure. Uptake is accelerating and we are now ready to start supplying the technology to hospitals in other countries. Already we have offices in the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland, and we are looking for partners to help market this innovative, cost-saving, popular and customisable technology.”
The Savience Assure clinic management solution is already installed in 17 UK hospitals, and its touchscreens are to be found in hundreds of GP and dental surgeries throughout Britain. The technology is also being deployed in other non-health applications.
