The goal of Hamburg-based Energy-Lab Technologies GmbH is to make potential cardiac risks visible. An innovative manufacturer of medico-technical equipment, the company is a developer and distributor of forward looking hardware and software solutions that enable a fast and uncomplicated examination of the heart’s conduction system.
Energy-Lab Technologies’ product range includes vicardio for doctors’ practices, viport for direct home and mobile use by those at risk, and cardioscan for the fitness and physiotherapy fields. All of the digital ECG systems are simple to use, provide easily understood results and rely on scientifically proven techniques. Current university research substantiates the significance of the test results. Energy-Lab Technologies’ devices contribute to a healthier lifestyle by acting as an early warning system for indicating abnormalities and enabling individual solutions. In many cases, the answer is a change of diet or lifestyle and, for example, an adapted training plan that can best stimulate the body’s functions – but without overtaxing them.
The ECG systems manufactured by the Hamburg medico-technical company are based on innovative technology. The unique electro-cardio portrait (Electrocardioporträt® – ECP) provides a visualisation of the current heart condition by means of a three-dimensional representation, while the CardioStressIndex (CSI) indicates potential cardiac risks. cardioscan functions such as fitness level (Fitlevel) determination and ECG-based training regulation enable a harmonisation of physical demands, such as sporting activity, with the heart’s resilience. Due to their compact size, Energy-Lab Technologies’ devices can be transported easily and discreetly and thus enable regular measurements to be maintained.
The growing demand for the company’s ECG systems reflects the trend towards preventative and health promotion measures. In addition to the purely medical setting, the (medical) wellness field, physiotherapy practices and fitness studios are consequently becoming increasingly important for the company, which was founded in 2001 and now employees 25 staff. The young company has recently begun to expand into international markets and is already seeing considerable growth in this field.
