With a new hardware platform and advanced software with an extensive range of new features, the new-version Omnisense 7000 PRO brings new levels of ease and versatility to osteoporosis assessment and monitoring at the point of care. The prototype of new Omnisense 7000 PRO system will be demonstrated for the first time at the upcoming “Medica” Show in Dusseldorf, in the BeamMed booth, Hall 10, stand A34. It will be launched commercially in 2013.
The new Omnisense 7000 PRO is based on proprietary Sunlight Omnipath™ quantitative ultrasound technology, which has been proven in thousands of installations worldwide to deliver highly accurate and safe multi-site assessment of bone status. A standalone device designed for use in any clinic or physician office, Omnisense 7000 is ideal for managing and monitoring osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment for any patient. It uses different software modules and five ethnical clinical reference databases, making it suitable for patients aged 0-99 years, including neonates.
The new version of Omnisense 7000 is designed for ultimate ease of use and versatility. The advanced hardware platform features a large, 19” touch-screen, enabling fast and convenient operation. The new-generation software improves versatility and performance, offering a choice of operation modes. With its newly designed interface, the Omnisense 7000 is exceptionally easy to learn and use. Additionally, the new-version Omnisense 7000 supports transfer of data to other systems in the clinical environment.
