New paradigms will change dictation systems in hospitals and sugeries

Dictation by Smartphone and immediate sending of the dictation

With dictate on demand mobile DictaTeam UG (haftungsbeschraenkt) brings a complete dictation machine substitution onto the market. At MEDICA 2010 the dictation experts from Westerkappeln, Germany, together with their partners Vodafone D2 GmbH and GN Netcom GmbH / Jabra present their dictation software for Smartphones and Pads / Tablet PCs (exhibition hall 15/F27).

The application, which is already available in the Apple Store, is the reaction on the user trend towards Smartphone and Pad solutions that is evident since this year´s CeBIT and conhIT. In the meantime the DictaTeam software can also be used with devices from Apple, HTC, Black Berry and Sony Ericsson.

dictate on demand mobile offers technically at least the same functions and recording quality as conventional solutions – and this partly for half of the usual project prices. In cooperation with the GO and PRO headsets from Jabra even high-grade CD quality is possible when recording.
Especially for hospitals, medical-care centres and doctor´s surgeries dictate on demand mobile offers a very cost-effective alternative, which can also be fully integrated into existing hospital softwaresystems. Dictations can be recorded and sent at any time and from anywhere without having to sit at the workstation. This makes Smartphones and Pads to real all-rounders. They replace telephone, pager, dictation machine and provide data secure access to patient files and the medicine list.
So far, dictate on demand mobile can be delivered in a11 languages, among them next to German, English and French also Arabic and Chinese.

dictate on demand mobile is a system independed, multilingual software, which makes sending of dictations via data transmission procedures such as GPRS, UMTS, HSUPA or in-house WLAN possible.
