When choosing hospitals patients pay close attention to the (technical) equipment of the rooms besides the medical care provided. Convenient communication systems and modern media are two criteria hospitals have to compete on.
Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions is merging both of these points. Conventional TV’s can be controlled from the bed of the patient with the multifunctional patient hand device Medicall® 800 nurse call system. All that is required are scart connections and/or infra-red controls on the TV as well as a TV interface.
The patient handheld device controls the nurse and service call system, additional features such as opening and closing blinds and all main TV features. Patients no longer have to use different devices. Handheld devices can be integrated into existing nurse call systems with adapters. Hospitals can provide their patients with more convenience at only minimal expense.
There is a huge range of modern flat-screen and tube TVs on offer. If these include internet and IT connections, modern entertainment can enter patient rooms.
Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions designs, installs and services fire detection, protection and suppression systems, integrated access control and CCTV surveillance systems and other integrated solutions.
